Raywood is a small town in northern Victoria, located in the City of Greater Bendigo municipality.  It is situated approx. 25kms from Bendigo, and 180kms from Melbourne.   It  has been a drought affected, exceptional circumstances declared area for the past 7 years.

Raywood boasts fanatastic facilities, with a Pre-School, Primary School, bus transport to Secondary schools, and successful sporting clubs (golf, cricket, football & tennis - see current fixtures in Publications page).  We also have a supurb Recreational Reserve and public swimming pool.

Listed on this website is information from all business houses, volunteer committees, churches and schools. We have local news, latest weather and up-coming events.  The history of Raywood and the area will be compliled by the Grade 5/6 students at Raywood Primary School.

Publications such as the Raywood & District +25 Community Plan, past editions of the 'Roundabout Raywood' newsletter, B-Line Raywood - Eaglehawk bus timetable and a host of other information can also be accessed.

Raywood is also the home of the Bendigo Gliding Club.  With large open paddocks in all directions it makes the Bendigo Gliding Club one of the best cross country sites in Victoria.
